Did you miss our archivist Joan Fontcuberta's talk as part of the European Month of Photography? The talk was recorded and is now available to watch online.
Photography began in the mystery of a founding alchemy and ended in another kind of magic today, that of algorithms. In the beginning, photography was done with light; today it is done with computers and data. At a time when the camera and the eye are being replaced in visual culture by neural networks and artificial intelligence, it's time to rethink the role of the images that have so far helped to shape our sensibilities.
Organised in collaboration with Café Crème and VF projects as part of EMOP under the patronage of the Spanish Embassy in Luxembourg.
