Since December 2015, the permanent exhibition of coins and medals is on display in completely refurbished rooms that offer a broad overview of the monetary history of Luxembourg, from ancient times until the euro. The most prestigious objects are highlighted thanks to video projections.
The tour "metallic history" invites to discover aspects of numismatics through different themes: hoards, prestigious collections, monetary iconography, striking and equipment production, change and banknotes, medals and finally the decorations.
