Vivid, bulky, informative, memorable - posters are challenging archival materials, but the effort to look at them more closely is worth it. They tell of events, sometimes give clues about the organisation that created it, but also about graphic trends and printing methods. In the context of Archive Month, Edurne Kugeler, archivist of the MNAHA, takes a look at the posters of the special exhibitions that the museum has organised since it opened. She will first look at exhibition trends and infer from them the changing interests of the museum, but then she will also try to show graphic trends and practices of which the posters are witnesses.
